Bitumor
Primer is Bituminous air curing ready mixed Acid & Alkali
resistant special primer.
| Application |
- Concrete
surface must be clean & dry and rough. No primer
should be applied over smooth and wet surface.
- After
cleaning the concrete surface, one coat of Bitumor
Primer should be applied with brush and allow to dry
thoroughly.
- The
drying time will depend upon the temperature.

Chemical
Resistant Bitumor Mastic |
|

Bitumor
Mastic is Acid and Alkali resistant for use as a protective
impervious membrane suitable for concrete, brick work, steel
etc. Bitumor Mastic have good resistance to large number
of mildly corrosive conditions.
| How
to Use |
Bitumor
Mastic shall be broken into small pieces and heated.
The surface on which it is to be applied should be
primed with Bitumor Primer. It is applied with straight
edged piece of wood or trowel. The surface shall not
be put under service before 24 hrs. of application
Mastic.
Bitumor Mastic is not recommended where there is excessive
heat or solvents, mineral oil & greases are anticipated.
It is adhesion to concrete surface previously primed
with Bitumor Primer.

Prepatation
of Chemical Resistant Mortars consists of Resin &
Powder. The average mixing ratio necessary to obtain
mortar with good working consistency is 1 pbw Resin
& 3 pbw Powder. The ration will vary slightly depending
upon temperature and working condition.
Stirer
the Resin thoroughly before using. Place liquid resin
in a suitable mixing pan and add powder. Mix throughly
with the Spatula or Trowel. the mixing operation shall
be continued until a uniform mixture is obtained.
Make
sure that all the mortar is used from the mixing pan
before another batch is prepared.

Sulphomor
is a Sulphur based mortar containing Plasticizer &
filter. The melt mortar is extremely fluid and pours
quite easily.

| How
to Use |
The
mortar should be heated at low temperature in
a suitable Kettle by stirring with metal rod or
ladle. The surface shall be laid first with membrane.
Over the dry coat of membrane, the chemical resistant
bricks or tiles be placed on spacer chips. Melted
Sulphomor Mortar shall be poured through joints
of bricks or tiles. In case of vertical surface
joints of bricks or tiles are covered by applying
with adhesive paper. sulphomor mortar is poured
between the wall surface and the tile or bricks.

| Note |
If
Sulphomor is over heated or ignited a tight cover
or wet gunny bags shall be kept ready for use in
case of fire. Sulphomor Mortar burns with a low
blue flame. If this should happen, heating should
be stopped and the vessel should be covered with
lid or wet gunny bags. if the mortar thickens or
over heating, it should be allowed to cool and stir
till it become thin. Care should be taken that water
or damp mortar should not fall in the heating vessel
in order to avoid foaming. |

the Ceramic, Concrete surface and metals so, it
can be used as a monolithic lining for the construction
of dilute acids storage tanks.
